Description:

Community Creative Center (formerly Northwest Arkansas Community Creative Center) is a visual arts organization located in Walton Arts Center’s Nadine Baum Studios. Community Creative Center (CCC) provides a full spectrum of visual arts classes to children and adults along with specialized workshops, summer, after school and intersession arts camps, and gallery and studio space for local artists.

CCC emerged as a separate 501 (c) 3 arts organization following the dissolution of Walton Arts Center’s visual arts studio program in 2007. Teaching artists employed by Walton Arts Center’s program along with several local artists worked with the Arts Center officials to re-purpose the studio art equipment. A studio leasing agreement was initiated to include a large ceramic studio, a mosaic studio, two multi-purpose arts spaces and an outdoor area with four kilns. In April of 2007, CCC began serving the community with high quality clay and ceramics classes, watercolor, mosaic and mixed media arts classes for students and adults of all ages and skill levels. Over the past five years CCC is proud to have served more than 5,000 community members with a variety of fall, spring and summer arts classes.
