Description: To promote the proper disposal of solid waste, provide assistance for cleaning illegal dumps, and provide environmental education to all ages of the county.

Modems and Routers

TVs

VCRs, DVD and Blu-ray players

Printers, scanners, and copiers

Microwaves

Home stereos (receiver only)

UPS battery backup

Media storage like CDs, DVDs, VHS, and floppy disks

Mobile devices like eReaders, MP3 players, and tablets

Cell phones

Batteries

Waste tires: first four non-rim passenger tires free.

 

Household hazardous waste in residential quantities only: 

Automotive fluids - motor oil, antifreeze, gasoline

Batteries - household, rechargeable, auto

Cleaning products - bleach, oven cleaning

Cooking grease and oil

Fluorescent lights (some fees apply) - tubes, compact (CFLs)

Lawn and garden products - pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers

Mercury items - thermometers, thermostats

Medical sharps/needles (used medical needles must be delivered in heavy plastic containers)

Paint - latex, oil, spray paint

Pressurized containers - fuel canisters, helium containers, aerosol cans

Swimming pool chemicals
