Description: Throughout Northwest Arkansas families are working to break the cycle of poverty and become self-sufficient. Often the single greatest barrier to paid employment facing these families is affordable and reliable transportation. CarWorks provides transportation for employed, low-income families who meet certain eligibility requirements. CarWorks provides zero down, no interest financing on donated vehicles.

CarWorks accepts donations of vehicles from private individuals who receive a tax credit for a charitable donation. These vehicles are evaluated and repaired to make them road worthy. Donors can feel good knowing that their donated car is giving a low-income family in Northwest Arkansas the lift they need to break the cycle of poverty.
